Mickey Mouse Cookie in One day in Disneyland Paris

Can you do Disneyland Paris In One Day?

Yes! You absolutely can do Disneyland Paris for day as that’s exactly what me and my two teenagers did in March of this year.

My children are both in secondary school but I chose an inset day on a random Monday in March to fly to Paris Charles De Gaulle from Manchester so that we could visit Disneyland Paris for the day.  We have previously visited Paris so we had no plans to head into the city, just straight to Disneyland to spend the day before flying home again on the last flight out that same day.

Our flight left Manchester at 7am getting us to Paris CDG at 09:35am, we then took the TGV high speed train which gets you to Disneyland Paris in just over 12 minutes!  The station to get off for Disneyland is Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy and as soon as you exit the train station you can see the entrance to the park.

When we first arrived it was raining slightly but this definitely didn’t dampen our spirits!  Hearing the music and seeing the Disneyland hotel as you’re walking in was very exciting, this was our first time actually visiting Disneyland so we were all looking forward to it.

I had pre booked our tickets for our one day in Disneyland Paris.  I bought the one day, two parks ticket which granted us access to both the Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios Park.  I opted for the 2 park ticket as I wasn’t sure how many bigger rides there would be that my teenagers would enjoy in just the Disneyland Park.  A point to note is sometimes they have certain rides closed for maintenance etc , this can be found on their Disneyland Paris app which I found really useful for our visit.  It shows live queue times, a map and things like where to eat etc I’d recommend downloading this ahead of your visit.

Whilst at Disneyland there are various snack vendors dotted around, we enjoyed chocolate covered strawberries and a Mickey shaped cookie.  For lunch we headed over to the Disney Village, we wanted something quick as we were making the most of our time so just opted for fast food.  I would say that the walk from Disneyland into Disney Village was longer than we had expected, this might be something to bear in mind.

We didn’t get to see the fireworks during our one day at Disneyland Paris as we were flying home the same day, but both me and the kids did feel we got to experience the parks properly and didn’t feel rushed.  We’ve all said it’s something we would like to do again.

Disneyland Paris is by no means a cheap day out, but in my opinion as we done one day in Disneyland Paris it did make it more attainable than when you look at prices to take a full Disneyland break which can run into thousands.  If you can find cheap flights to Charles De Gaulle I’d recommend the day at Disneyland, check out Skyscanner to bag some cheap return flights.

We’re looking forward to the Disney Adventure World park opening in 2026 and have all agreed to visit Disneyland Paris again when this opens.
